The Land Rover DC100, a modern interpretation of the icon Land Rover Defender, will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. Land Rover also confirms that the production of the new Defender is scheduled for 2015. Commenting on the Land Rover concept DC100, Gerry McGovern, Land Rover design director , said: "Replacing the iconic Defender is one of the largest and most demanding challenges in the global automotive design. This is not a concept ready for production, but only the beginning of a long path that will take us four years to define the design of the Defender of the 21 st century. "

The DC100 Land Rover concept has been realized starting from the essential elements that characterize the Defender, to open a discussion and inspire people to dream of the future will be like the Defender.
