Through some teasers, Ginetta announces the arrival of a new self- designed supercar . Despite the approval for road use the car will draw inspiration from the experience of the brand in competitions, such as the Ginetta GT Supercup, and according to some rumors could debut at the Geneva Motor Show (5-17 March).
Equipped with a carbon frame , the supercar of the Leeds manufacturer will be powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter aluminum V8 capable of delivering 600 hp coupled to a sequential transmission. Ginetta says that the car will make use of radical aerodynamic solutions, and from the images you can see a front with a large central air intake and a rear wing.
Looking at it in profile, the car has a design similar to the current G55 , race car powered by a 380 hp 3.7 V6 engine. Waiting for more information, here are words from President Lawrence Tomlinson : "We have come a long way in 60 years, but we still believe that Ginetta has great untapped potential. In the 1960s our G10 regularly beat the Jaguar E-Type. years later, we are still applying the knowledge and technology of our programs to build a road supercar without compromise, but absolutely capable ".
