SAKURA, THIS IS NOT A FLOWER, THIS IS A NEW CAR FROM NISSAN

Nissan has finally revealed the price of a tiny electric car, which will cost USD 13500

Nissan believed Sakura could take it to the next level. Its 4.8-meter turning radius allows the rider to maneuver in tight spaces. Sakura measures 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, 1,655 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,495 mm. It weighs only 1,070-1,080 kg and has a luggage capacity of 107 liters.

Despite its small size, Nissan claims the Sakura has a spacious interior and a high fuel economy, making it suitable for daily use. Sakura can accommodate four people inside.

"The all-new Sakura will join the Leaf and Ariya as mass-market electric vehicles. We believe it will be a game changer in the Japanese market and will be easily accessible to Japanese consumers "In an official statement, Nissan Executive Vice President Asako Hoshino stated.

The Nissan Sakura is powered by an electric motor that generates 47 kW of power and 195 Nm of torque. Sakura has the ability to accelerate quickly and steadily. The technology is based on Leaf's more than a decade of development. Sakura maintains a high level of cabin silence in this manner. According to Nissan tests, Sakura has a range of up to 180 kilometers.

The Nissan Sakura is scheduled to go on sale in Japan this summer. Sakura is priced at 1.78 million yen, or USD 14.000  if you qualify for an environmentally friendly vehicle subsidy of 550,000 yen, which is converted into 4.400 USD

The Nissan Sakura is available in three variants in Japan: S, X, and G, with retail prices ranging from 2,333,100 yen (USD 18,500) to the highest, 2,940,300 yen (USD 23.152).
