Alpine RDS integrates Tagging CDA-117Ri

After its entry-level models, Alpine unveils new luxury car, which should be enjoyed by music lovers. The CDA-117Ri incorporates interesting features for hi-fi, but is also heavily loaded with mobile devices like the iPod.

To provide excellent musicianship, the CD player this unit is equipped with a converter 24-bit Burr Brown. Of course, the reader is compatible digital patties with 3 audio formats (MP3, WMA, AAC). The preamp is no exception, as it has active filtering, graphic and parametric EQ, time alignment. For those who do not want complicated adjustments, the CDA-117Ri can be fitted processor hi-fi Brand Imprint. To use mobile devices, this handset has a USB high-speed and control iPod / iPhone. Evolution very interesting, this post has the RDS Tagging (not yet operational in France, but it should come). This feature allows you to tag music heard on the radiator. This Tag is stored in the iPod connected to the receiver. Then there is to connect the iPod to iTunes to find the song and download it. A great little feature, as the Radio Text is not overly developed and radios still do not advertise the music they broadcast. This will easily find music that we loved on the radio. For the rest, we find the usual services of Alpine: RDS tuner, amplifier 4x50 Watts, 3 line outputs, compatibility steering wheel controls, ... Alpine has not forgotten the phone, since we can add an optional Bluetooth module . The CDA-117Ri sold 349 Euros.
