Kenwood KAC-X5D, A New Digital Amplifier



Following the success of its line of Class D amps, Kenwood unveiled at Leipzig AMICOM, a new model, which will delight those who wish to complete installation with a single amplifier.

KAC-X5D baptized, this amp retains the digital design of these little brothers, but this time offers 5 channels of amplification. This will animate an entire installation (front channels, rear channels and subwoofer channel) with a single amplifier. Compact, low heat, consume little power, and with very good dynamic with Class D technology is an interesting amp for a well-integrated installation. The KAC-X5D is rated at 4x80 watts for the front and rear tracks, and 350 watts for the mono channel. To adapt to different HP, this amp has a crossover highpass and lowpass.The KAC-X5D goes on sale later this spring.
