DSX-S100 Sony has a unit specifically designed for the iPod



Having shunned the iPod for years, Sony unveils a car specially designed for mobile sources, especially the iPod: the DSX-S100.

No CD player behind the front flip, the DSX-S100 has a slot for your iPod or iPhone. Once the player inside the car, everything is controlled by the front of the car, which of course displays song titles. For other sources nomads, the DSX-S100 also has a USB port and an auxiliary input jack. To the traditional functions, this handset has an RDS tuner, an amplifier 4x52 Watts, an equalizer and a line out. Optionally, it can receive an IR remote control or joystick to be mounted on the steering column. In fact, it only lacks the bluetooth to be truly comprehensive. For now, the price we are not yet known.
