This new model incorporates the design last year, namely a completely smooth front with a light touch keyboard. Enlightened white, the keyboard appears when you approach the hand of the screen with a sensor. Always on the right of the facade, the display offers a 3.5-inch 16:9. Once we passed the OSD in French in the set up, the grip of the KD-AVX40 is relatively intuitive. Apart from some small adjustments to find functions in the menus, the interface is very good. The touchpad responds quickly and accurately. The display has very good clarity, especially for MP3 tags, since it was the singer's name on one line and the title song below. Against damage, control the iPod does not display album covers. This is certainly not essential, but it has a playful side very pleasant. Apart from this detail, the control of an iPod is perfectly and easily, like a USB cradle. Easy pairing, research in the phonebook, quality of telephone communications, the Bluetooth feature works very well.

Using a 24 bit converter, the DVD offers very good audio quality. The sound is stamped, musical and dynamic. It is sure to have fun listening to his favorite music. The screen offers a very good image quality. Although small, it follows easily a film or a concert DVD. But most importantly, conventional radio functions, it offers so much good legibility, which has been struggling to return to the classic car radios to display. As usual with JVC, the integrated amp uses MOSFET technology and delivers 4x50 watts. The attacks are good and honest, but we prefer a power amp to fully enjoy the musicality of the car.
