Bentley Continental GT Car Audio Review




To meet the expectations of music lovers, the prestigious British manufacturer Bentley team now its cars Facility Naim. Recall that Naim is an English brand of hi-fi home very famous among audiophiles. Like Audi's with B & W, Bentley has not done things by half.

We chose a Bentley Continental GT to present the installation Naim, but is also available on other models in the Bentley. Regarding prestige cars, Bentley and Naim have done great things. Thus, it has a hi-fi system with multimedia capabilities. The source is housed in the center console. A bit like appliances hi-fi show, she is separated elements. On the upper part of the center console it has a 7-inch video screen with some buttons around.

Chrome strapping around the keys to great style to this source. Below the screen are a keyboard command (tuner, telephone, ...) and a knob to control the system functions. Of course, steering wheel controls are also present. From a functional point of view, the source has a DVD player, GPS and Bluetooth functions in addition to conventional radio. But the highlight of the installation is the Naim system which consists of 13 speakers and 2 subwoofers.

The front and rear, it enjoys a 3-way. The speakers are powered by a 1100 watt amplifier with DSP. EQ separate right / left, Dynamic EQ, 8 DSP modes, everything has been designed to offer a very musical listening. The volume is of course controlled by the speed to compensate for road noise. The amplifier and speakers have been specially developed for Bentley by Naim. In short, a beautiful upscale facility that we can discover at the Paris Motor Show 2008.
