Among the many new Alpine AMICOM presented in Leipzig, there was the new processor PXA-H800. Designed for audiophiles want to make a hi-fi high level, the PXA-H800 is compatible with all car radios!

The PXA-H800 looks like a small black box with a brushed aluminum remote control. The latter has a display and allows the settings of the processor, but you can also use a laptop via the USB port of the processor. This processor has 6 RCA inputs, therefore ideal for aftermarket radios. But it can also be used with original car radios with its 4 high level inputs. On output, it has 8 channels to achieve a hi-fi. Using two 32-bit DSP, the PXA-H800 offers 31-band graphic EQ per channel, 10 band parametric EQ per channel, time alignment for 8 channels and an active filter. Also note the presence of two optical digital inputs, Dolby Digital sound for film and Euphony technology to extrapolate the 5.1 sound from a source 2.1. In short, a product that will quickly attract audiophiles, and we should soon find him in the facilities of the competition. In AMICOM Alpine was demonstrating with and without PXA-H800 in a demo car: very efficient and very fine level adjustments. The PXA-H800 is sold 699 Euros.
