Nissan Compact Sports Concept

Nissan chose the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show to present the new Nissan Compact Sports Concept , a concept which should anticipate the sports version of the Micra .

Obviously, as can be seen from the pictures, the new Nissan Compact Sports Concept has been conceived and designed for a younger audience.

The floor of the Micra was slightly modified to adapt to the new sporty nature of this model. The size of the car are 3.48 meters long and 1.44 meters high, namely 30 and 8 cm less, respectively, in comparison to the Micra. However, the changes are not only aesthetic, indeed. The machine has undergone a major upgrade, in particular we find the engine 1.6 turbo petrol direct injection that is capable of developing 190 hp power and 240 Nm of torque.

There is then the CVT automatic transmission but it also offers a manual gear selection mode, which allows for a six-speed gearbox.

This prototype was initially designed only for the Chinese market, but will most likely also on other markets.
