How Speaker Could Broken Down

We often hear speakers broken-down, meaning that the speakers are damaged and can no longer speak normally. Well there are several causes of the speakers broken-down, but in general damage the speakers there are two kinds of damage in mechanical and electrical.
The damage is mechanical, meaning that the damage caused by the error frequency coming into the speaker. So the frequency of entry into the speaker, the value is outside the working range speakers , such as low signal given tweeter 30 Hz. While working range frequency tweeters are generally between 3000 Hz - 20,000 Hz. Frequency of damaging the speakers are usually the frequency is too low from the limits of the speakers. In addition to examples that caught tweeter frequency is too low,  the subwoofer can be subject to the same calamity. For example, a subwoofer is recommended by the manufacturer to use a box with volume 1 cubicfeet. But because we want to get more deep bass, we'll give the box with volume 2 cubicfeet. Yes, the sound that comes out will be more deep, but could damage the subwoofer due to move the subwoofer to be so free that would eventually damage the suspension system. Box has a value of resistance to move the subwoofer. The bigger the box, the lower the prisoner, the more free automatically move the subwoofer which resulted in the lower bass that came out plus the risk of burst will increase. So consider the recommendations of the manufacturer's box subwoofer.
If you want to change the volume of the box, change the tolerance limit of 25%, no more. For example if the specification subwoofer advised to use a cubicfeet-volume box, then you can play with the box volume between 0.75 to 1.25 cubicfeet to be safe. Or it could be if you are wrong in making the pipe ported. Pipe is very influential on ported lower limit frequency that comes out. If you have the wrong make a ported and the frequency that comes out too low, the subwoofer can also be broken.
Damage to the electric, which means that the damage caused by too much power is going in a long time continuously. For example, a speaker has a 100 Watt power handling, and then we beat with 500 Watts continuously for long periods, then the speaker voice coil heat and eventually will be scorched. Try to set back the gain amplifier you, bass boost and remote bass.
The solution, set back crossoverequalizeramplifier gain and check back in your box, make sure it does not pass through the working ability of the speakers you. How can know the limits of the speakers you? So, if you buy goods, boxes and books do not immediately discarded. Let's see what's in it. Reading the book really helps you to arrange everything in accordance with the rules of safety.
