Infinity Introduces a New Class D amplifier

 
Kappa range, high-end American brand Infinity welcomes a new amp. Kappa amplifiers now use digital technology Class D Kappa One is dedicated to the management of a subwoofer channel.
 
As usual range in Kappa, the design is very elegant. Compact and with a thickness of 45 mm, the Kappa One easily hide in the car (under seats for example). DirectFET transistors for high power, audio input differential signal to avoid noise (alternator, for example), this amp uses a nice mail. To effectively manage a channel of serious, the Kappa One is very well equipped: active low-pass filter, subsonic filter, bass EQ and line out to feed another amp. This amp develops 1x500 Watts into 4 Ohms or 2 Ohms 1x800 Watts. This is of course power RMS CEA 2006 standard, thus real power. With the efficiency of Class D, this will be a powerful subwoofer channel without having to use a big amp. One is the Kappa sold 549 Euros.
