Mini Countryman receives Internet radio



At the Geneva Motor Show, Mini presented featuring the Countryman. The latter is distinguished by the presence of a new multimedia system for receiving Internet radio in the car.

From architecture point of view, the multimedia system is identical to the other Mini, namely a video screen in the counter block and a control unit in the center console. The Countryman is the first car to offer mass access to webaradios. For this, the Mini Connected has a USB port to connect the iPhone and Bluetooth for use Smartphones. By using the link 3G Smartphone, the Mini Connected can listen to Internet radio, and it's great. This lets you listen to favorite radio anywhere (even abroad). And some music (hard rock for example) are not broadcast on FM, but are in radio stations. In short, it offers new services to the motorist. The system provides course all the modern features like GPS, Bluetooth or USB. In short, an innovative system which opens new perspectives caraudio because Internet radio in the car will surely become more widespread.
