KIA Soul Car Audio Review

At the Paris Motor Show 2008, Kia introduced a new small 4x4 Urban: The Soul! A funny name for a mix of current music and the thrill of pleasure to ride different. Indeed, for a young clientele, the Soul offers many options for customization, even for the hi-fi onboard!

Interesting options and even amazing!

KIA takes customization very seriously. For 4x4 Soul, the Korean brand has really great things. Paint, interior trim, rims, accessories, impossible not to find happiness for a 4x4 to her personal taste. KIA also offers several interesting options for the stereo and electronics onboard. KIA goes even further by proposing a system of sound and light in the car, a first for an automaker.

The radio on all models as standard and offers good benefits

In Europe, all 4x4 Soul will be marketed with an audio system. It consists of a facility to 6 speakers: two separate pathways kits front and high-range speakers in the rear doors. For Front, the woofers are placed in the bottom of doors, while the tweeters are mounted at the ends of the dashboard. These speakers are powered by a 112-watt amplifier. The radio has a CD player with MP3 and RDS tuner. Down the center console, KIA has placed an auxiliary USB port. In fact, it only lacks the bluetooth in this car to be really full.

The screen of the backup camera is integrated into the rearview mirror

KIA pity that does not offer a double din multimedia system, because there is ample room in the center console. However, the catalog includes an option of Soul rearview camera. The latter is integrated into the rear door of the 4x4. The monitor, in color, has been placed in the rear view mirror. A solution that is rarely seen in OEM and yet is very well thought out, because the screen is in the axis of vision. Inescapable these days, KIA also offers a navigation solution.

A portable navigator is optional

On the navigation market, they are portable navigation devices that sell best. The Soul to a young clientele, KIA has proposed a preferred browser mobile browser rather than fixed. However, instead of putting it on the windshield with a suction cup, the PND KIA binds to a specific carrier in the empty pocket upper center console. The radio remains the same, but the amplifier changes and additional speakers are added to the system standard.
