Mini Pioneer SCP 2008

It was not the star of the show, and yet it was one of three coaches of the finest shows PTS 2008. While many brands still surf car audio tuning on fashion and "bling bling" Pioneer plays, as some U.S. brands, the sports card and a certain lifestyle that goes with the sporting spirit, presenting a sumptuous mini pick-up surfing!

A show car worthy of a car manufacturer!

A pick-up yes, but to carry Watts, no straw

The purpose of this facility was to demonstrate the expertise of Pioneer in all fields of electronics: high-tech multimedia, sound quality, advanced electronics and even SPL. Of course, this Mini is not meant to sound pressure, but Pioneer SPL as World Champion, she had to have a big channel bass. The bucket then welcomes three subwoofers 30cm SPL Champion Series. The floor of the bucket welcomes amplifiers installation. For demonstrations lounge, a separate 2-way kit with 13 cm woofer is located in the sides of the bucket. To demonstrate its know-how in hi-fi, this kit has been selected erupted in the PRS range. Coated fiber, painted white like the roof of the Mini, the box has enough geometric lines that give a touch of aggressiveness very nice installation. The details have been cared for until the end, the bucket can be covered with a tonneau cover.

The cabin is not left out, the dashboard has been completely remoulded to measure. At the top of the pedestal, stands proudly the new multimedia handset Double Din Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD. Taking a design similar to the Avic D3BT, this handset is more focused on multimedia video. It also controls an iPod placed on top of the dashboard. The speedometer and the original controls have been raised in a custom made center console.

The combination of hi-fi, multimedia and serious! 

Like the bodywork, the cabin plays the duality between the pure white and chocolate matte. The speakers also come from the interior of the catalog PRS. Via custom panels, doors receive a 3-way kit. It consists of a 17 cm woofer, a midrange 10 cm and a tweeter. To enhance the sound image, the dashboard houses a loudspeaker 10 cm at each end.

All speakers, including the kit broke the bucket, are driven by amplifiers with digital broadband technology Ice Power. Pioneer was one of the leading manufacturers of car audio Class D amplifiers have broadband, so it was logical that they are the ones that fit the Mini pickup. 3 amps were put to work for it: two 2 channel and 4 channels.
