Cadillac Provoq Concept

At CES in Las Vegas before the Detroit Motor Show, Cadillac introduced its new SUV prototype: the Provoq Concept. SUVs have terrible rating in the U.S., but they are starting to be singled out for their big V8 greedy and polluting. Cadillac revolutionized the automotive segment by introducing a high-tech concept car powered with a fuel cell, fuel is hydrogen!

When ecology and automotive passion is getting married!

A bit like the BMW X6, the Provoq is distinguished by innovative design in the segment, a sleek and high tech. It is far from the days when SUVs were simple peasants 4x4 that can go anywhere. New vision of luxury car of the future, the Provoq proves that we can marry ecology and driving pleasure.

This 5-seater SUV is built on the platform E-Flex from General Motors. No gas engine to move, it uses two tanks of 6 kg and 700 bars of pressure for supplying hydrogen fuel cell. The latter generates electricity to feed the three electric motors. An engine of 95 KW handles the front wheels and two electric motors of 55 KW (one in each rear wheel) provide traction rear axle, since it is an AWD.

Electric motors develop about 150 horse power, which allows the Provoq to shoot from 0 to 100 km in just 8.5 seconds and display a top speed of 160 km (more than enough to lose all those points on pink cardboard). The cockpit is not only a high-tech design, it also uses elements that made us dream so far in futuristic movies. The meters have been replaced by small round LCD screens, is the most beautiful effect. On the dashboard and trim, a blue strip light brighten the interior in gray leather and aluminum. The Provoq is equipped on a multimedia system with steering wheel controls.

An LCD screen is located in the center of the dashboard to give all particulars of the system. In the middle of the center console, the CPU includes a browser, Bluetooth phones, USB connectivity for mobile devices and of course the usual audio functions. Cadillac Escalade: style and luxury

The 2007 Cadillac Escalade SUV with eyes full sets. Cadillac has adapted its model to its customers. Style for some, and for other luxury equipment. An SUV that will satisfy everyone.

A heterogeneous target

The Cadillac Escalade is a big 4x4, 4x4 huge even with its 5.14 long. It has two target audiences. Multimedia in general

Side-board electronics, Cadillac has done here also think big. The center console houses a 6-CD changer in front loading DVD-Video and a separate touch screen of 20 inches diagonal.
