NXS Goes Digital

Belonging To The CAB brand NXS unveils range of digital amplifiers; technology to balance power and integration.

Indeed, more compact, power-efficient, low heat, Class D digital amplifiers are more easily integrated into a car. The new line of NXD NXS comprises 4 models: 2 to 4 channels (4x75 NXD125.4 for Watts, NXD250.4 for 4x150 Watts), and 2 monoblocks (NXD500.1 for 250 Watts to 500 Watts NXD1000.1). For all, it's RMS power. The four channels operate broadband, while the mono blocks are dedicated to animation systems serious. For functionality, these amps have a crossover, a subsonic filter, a serious correction and phase reverse. These amplifiers will be available later this fall.

Digital amplifiers in NXS

Make part of the German group CAB, NXS has a new range of amplifiers. NXD these new amps use digital technology in order to have a powerful amplifier and compact.

Like many other brands at the moment, NXS starts to turn to digital broadband amplification. This allows for very compact amps, consume little power, heating and offering a few very good power. NXD range includes 4 models: two 4-channel mono and two blocks. Develop multichannel amps 4x75 Watts RMS for the NXD125.4 and 4x150 Watts RMS for the NXD250.4. Blocks, and the NXD500.1 NXD1000.1 offer respectively 250 and 500 Watts RMS into 4 ohms. All have an active filter and a correction of serious, but the most powerful 4-channel (NXD250.4) also offers a subsonic filter and phase correction. The blocks contain a single active low-pass filter, subsonic filter, a correction of severe and remote control level. All these amps have inputs high and low, to be compatible with all radios. Prices should start around 330 Euros.
