Honda: 3 screens for the interior of the electric prototype

Honda , preparations are underway for the presentation of the semi-final prototype of electric cars inspired by the forms of Urban EV: after the teaser of the front (branched in recent days) here is revealed part of the interior of the concept that we will see at the next Geneva Motor Show (5 -17 March).

An essential dashboard, with horizontal development, dominated by a triple LCD panel that makes up the totally digital instrument panel on the one hand, and the interface for managing the electrical system and on-board infotainment on the other. This is a solution used today - but with only two screens - by manufacturers such as Mercedes and Hyundai (only on Nexo), even if inspiration comes directly from the dashboards of the '80s, an influence that will also be visible in the design general exterior, as anticipated by the Urban EV Concept shown at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The final version of the bridge should not deviate too much from this "triple-screen" solution , of which probably the two on the right with touch technology. From this teaser we can also confirm some of the features related to the electrical part, such as pre-heating , and infotainment, such as HDMI support .

Not only that: on the rightmost screen is a virtual model of the vehicle , which reveals a line not too dissimilar from that of Urban EV Concept. Finally, note the wood finish that runs along the entire board, an element that offers an additional opportunity to talk about the dichotomy between technology and tradition.
