MTX unveils the first amplifier without wiring

This is a real revolution in car audio. As explained long ago, because the audio must be perfectly integrated to the car. MTX amplification revolutionizes BroadCom with his model, as it requires no wiring!

For now, this is a prototype presented in the U.S. market, but hopefully soon it arrives in Europe. Until then, amps called "plug and play" still require wiring, but it is simplified and that these amps are compact. Broadcom is a concentrate of high technology. For starters, it uses a hydrogen fuel cell hybrid cars directly derived. There is therefore no need to draw power from the battery of the vehicle. The battery lasts for 3 years after it should be changed by an authorized dealer. And RCA cables? Greatest need, the BroadCom uses Bluetooth technology. A little box connects to the line outputs of the radio and communicates via Bluetooth with the amp. The case InterCom is compact enough to be housed in the slot receiver. For speakers, no cable either, also uses the Broadcom Bluetooth. Just put a micro-actuator on the terminals on the speakers. To prevent mixing of Bluetooth connections, the receiver has small switches to give an address for each Bluetooth module. For the rest, the features are standard: 4x45 Watts RMS, active low-pass filter and high pass. After the Internet at Parrot car, it's time to revolutionize the MTX car audio. We will have the chance to talk!

After the ice sculpture, here is the subwoofer in snow

When we visited the factory MTX, we told you that the engineers of MTX and were merry pranksters were big fans of car audio. Having always overflowing imagination, reminding us lay the biggest subwoofer in the world, and carved in the snow!

The plant MTX we visited, is located in Arizona and is involved in the production of MTX amps. For speakers and subwoofers, MTX research center is located in Michigan. State where winter is very severe (more than 5 feet of snow and temperatures below - 20 °). It is also in this state, there is an engineering college (Michigan Tech), thus leaving some engineers at MTX. To celebrate the carnival, alumni of Michigan Tech are organizing a big party, and outdoor air - 20 ° please! This year, Alan Cross, MTX engineer and former student of the school and the father of JackHammer square, has decided to improve the sound of the festival. It created a huge subwoofer with bass reflex port slot in Snow. Yes, yes, you read correctly. A subwoofer in snow containing 40 square subwoofers MTX 30 cm. These were powered by Crown amps totaling 200,000 5 Watts RMS: what a great warm up the atmosphere! Total madness, we love it, engineers still have original ideas to promote the brand, and that's fun (it is also because the audio)!
