Jaguar XE restyling: New Design and Artificial Intelligence for the British sedan

Four years after the debut, Jaguar XE is renewed with the restyling of mid-career. The British sedan brings a refined design, new finishes, security and artificial intelligence, to challenge the D segment premium sedans along with the other "outsider" Alfa Romeo Giulia.

Thanks to a new bumper and thinner optics , the front of the new Jaguar XE appears wider and lower than the previous model. The full-LED headlights offer the now classic J-shaped signature and integrate with the design of the front fascia, available in two versions (more sporty or elegant, depending on the layout). Even the taillights evolve, receiving a new internal perspective.

The updates also affect the interior, characterized by an extensive use of soft-touch materials, new door trims and more attention to storage compartments. Shared with the sporty F-Type is the new SportShift gear selector, while at the interface level we highlight the debut of the digital instrumentation with 12.3 "TFT screen and the Jaguar Touch Pro Duo system , composed of two touch displays for the management of the infotainment and of the various "physical" functions of the vehicle (ventilation, seats and other settings) .The infotainment now integrates the Smart Settings technology , which uses the Artificial Intelligence to customize the driving settings.

Present, for the first time on the model after the debut on the new Range Rover Evoque , the rearview mirror ClearSight, equipped with a display capable of transmitting images from a rear camera grandandolare.

The 8-speed automatic transmission is standard on all the new Jaguar XE models , combined with rear or full-wheel drive depending on the engines. The four-wheel drive offers the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics technology , which ensures a preponderance of traction at the rear in normal conditions.

The  Jaguar XE 2019 range is available with the Ingenium family's 2-liter 4-cylinder diesel and petrol engines : the P250 and P300 indicate 250 and 300hp petrol , while the D180 indicates 180-hp diesel . The range is divided into the S, SE and HSE levels (each available also in the R-Dynamic version ), with a base that already offers automatic transmission, 18-inch wheels, leather seats with electric adjustment, full-LED headlamps , parking sensors, rear view camera and lane assistance. Jaguar XE price of the access variant is 33,915 pounds in the United Kingdom (about € 39,500).

Jaguar XKR-S, Sports Car of the Year 2011

The Jaguar XKR-S has been awarded the title "Sports Car of the Year" 2011 by the authoritative German magazine "Auto Bild Sportscars", thanks to the votes of more than 70,000 of its readers. The XKR-S, the most powerful production car ever produced by Jaguar, was measured in the category "Sports Coupe Series" by obtaining 14.3 percent of all votes, with the Mercedes C63 AMG and the Audi RS5. The XKR-S coupe was tested by Auto Bild Nordshleife on the famous Nürburgring, where he shot in just 7 minutes and 51 seconds, and its 5.0-liter supercharged V8 delivers 550 hp and 680 Nm, accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds and reaches a top speed electronically limited to 300km / h. To ensure maximum stability at high speeds, the XKR-S is equipped with a unique aerodynamic pack. At the tenth edition of the "Sports Car of the Year" Auto Bild took part in 173 cars in 17 categories, including cars and modified limited editions. Jaguar C-X16 Car Review

The concept Jaguar C-X16 is a strong affirmation of the intent of Jaguar design and technology for the future. The C-X16 adopts the traditional engine front, rear-wheel drive that Jaguar has established over the decades and transforms it for the 21st century in a performance hybrid engine with 50:50 weight distribution. 

Latest version of Jaguar's philosophy of "Redefining Performance" The system is based on a prototype of the 3.0-liter V6 supercharged all-alloy that delivers 380 hp (280 kW) and 450 Nm of torque thanks to its innovative architecture. For integration is an electric motor that produces 95 hp (70 kW) and 235 Nm of torque, available with the touch of a button on the steering. Combined with a change to eight reports and mounted on a lightweight aluminum frame, this allows the C-X16 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds and reach 300 km / h with a consumption of kilometers to 17:43 liter of fuel and emitting 165 g / km of CO2.
