It is at the Cologne Fair in April, we discovered this beautiful and original Golf Kicker's booth Audio Design (importer in Europe of the famous U.S.). Kicker has always communicated by conveying a lifestyle extreme sensations around its products. This show car responds perfectly to this philosophy. We tried it for you!
Ride the Best, F.. K the Rest!
Is the motto of Denis of XTC Concept that made this show car. Well known in Germany for its preparations on the basis of the VW group, Denis is in its eighth project. Any realization tuning was made by XTC, but the hi-fi has been assigned to a car audio shop well known in Germany: ASD Reupke! We have already presented several show cars, this store was made for the CAB group. We move quickly on customizing the car, since it is not our field. But to say a few words, it was conducted in an extremely understated. Admittedly, the decor is quite showy with its spirit Street, but the Golf does not change body proportion. The main changes were made using parts of Bora. Kicker has always provided a way of life music at the same time as the extreme sports, golf Denis has been prepared in this state of mind. The hi-fi was performed with the same spirit of moderation, that is to say without using a ton of stuff. While the interior has been revised in mind racing: Momo steering wheel, bucket seats with harness, ... The classic black plastic were covered with beautiful white alcantara.

The source of the plant is a combined double din Pioneer FH-P80BT. Good CD player, compatible with portable devices, Bluetooth phone, it perfectly meets the expectations of young consumers. It has naturally been housed in the center console. To get good bass in the front, this installation uses the principle of dual woofer door. The front channels are formed by a separate kit 2 way Kicker RS65.2, supplemented by a pair of woofers 16.5 cm in the same range. After sound of the door trim has been remoulded by respecting the original design to integrate the woofers and passive filtering. These speakers are powered by a Kicker ZX650.4 4-channel amp, two channels are dedicated to the kit exploded while two other animate the woofers. No way back on this installation! First, there are no rear passengers as possible.Deuxio for a hi-fi listening, this is not essential. Now to the climax of the installation: the trunk!

This chest is not full of stuff, but its appeal lies in the presentation of the installation. The volume of the trunk and back seat are soon forgotten. Two wells in fiber and medium were carried out on each side of the car. Their shapes were dictated by design, by the system needs serious, but also by the need to hide the system compressor and air tanks air suspension.Central to these two boxes, sits a beautiful BMX proudly to represent the brand image of Kicker.Stripped of its wheels and attach to the frame, BMX style gives an original installation. With the roll cage of the car above the BMX, it gives off a mid-race look mid-street racing very nice.

The bodies are dressed in black leather and alcantara. This helps to accentuate the look and the relief of the chest, but the alternation of reflective surface and absorbing surface also has interest in sound. The right side of the box houses two subwoofers Kicker S10L7. This subwoofer 25 cm square is well known for his powerful bass farm. The S10L7 subwoofer is a dual coil, each is powered by a Kicker ZX500.1 mono block. The three amps installation are included in the box left chest. As you said in the introduction, this is a very simple setup: a good way forward, a good channel for serious and consistent amplification. In short, nothing really complicated and excessive, but the facility was designed to be effective and showed the public that we can make things very nice without putting a ton of stuff in the trunk.

For installing car audio, ASD Reupke spent about three weeks on the Gulf of Denis. Without labor, installation costs about 3200 Euros. It develops a power of about 1500 Watts RMS. It is not astronomical compared to what we could see in show cars, but it is enough to give pleasure to listen to daily. Of course, this facility is geared more big sound quality rather than high fidelity. But seriously powerful and firm, warm and dynamic listening, the effects were sought to convey the spirit Kicker. Remember that just Kicker "to kick" in English, that is to say, given a kick in the C.., And with the two square subs range Solobaric is successful. Bass is deep and no shortage of energy, but without coming to crush the mid-way treble.

Overall, listening is well modulated and balanced, but his drive and the heat of a closer listen live concert way. This is certainly not audiophile, but the quality is there, and listening really enjoyable. And this especially on modern music, where subwoofers give wonderfully track.Whatever music we've tried it, we really enjoyed, and that's what it's at the bottom!
In conclusion:
Denis Golf is not a show car salon that carries only one trailer, the car is running on a daily basis.The facility had to remain realistic, especially since this preparation (and its personalization) reflects this beloved of young Germans. While overall, the car requires a certain budget, but the principle of ASD Reupke and XTC is to make cars that young fans can consider doing. If we total of what has been done on the car, even including the assembly, we stay in reasonable amounts to have a nice car and original young. Many times we have seen projects much more expensive, yet not as successful. And as regards the show as kicker for the salons, the Golf Denis had to respect the spirit and the image conveyed by Kicker. Whether the look or listen, it's successful mission to 200%!
